| The firefly drive form is the best of all choices out there. It fits on your key ring and "snaps" securely into place. I've never had one fall out . The longer drives can stick out and damage the USB port if hit or stepped on. I'm not sure why everyone else doesn't move tothis type of drive enclosure. |

I have a collection of thumb drives. From 256MB to 32GB of all makes
The Firefly is well built and the size makes it very convenient. Never had a failure with a Firefly drive. Write Speed is good at 7.4 MB/sec (5 GB in 11 minutes) but not as fast as the newer HP (PNY) drives at 9.8MB/sec.
Buy one (or two!) you won't regret it. |

I bought the 16gb Jumpdrive Firefly as a replacement to my 2gb version. The drive is small enough to keep on your keychain and despite its fragile appearance, the keychain clip is quite strong. I'm actually using the clip from my 2gb Firefly for my 16gb.
The transfer speeds are quick, but not amazing.
The formatted capacity is just under 15gb.
I would buy this product again, except that when it comes time to replace it, a larger version will more than likely be available. |

I had an early model firefly that I loved for the size of it--since they just don't stick out that far from a laptop and so many other brands and models stick out a lot. This is a great size and form factor.
However, the earlier fireflys had terrible speed issues. Horrible. For all I know, the smaller sizes still do (like the 1GB) I don't know. However, hope springs eternal.
Just got my 16GB FireFly. I'm VERY impressed. I just wrote 5 GB (not MB, GB) to it in around 25 minutes. That's really fast. I'm impressed. Lexar really got this one right. |

| I had a 2gb flashdrive by Lexar and needed larger storage capacity. After lots of shopping I came back to Lexar. It has been very reliable, fits on my keyring, and is small,sturdy and easy to remove. |
